times a long position is liquidated only to be followed by a significant price increase in
the issue. Too many times a short position is covered only to be followed by a
significant price decline in the issue. This bit of inappropriate and bad humor is the best argument against becoming too arrogant and thinking you know enough. Making money is usually difficult. This fact is exemplified by the issue of market timing. Market timing must be balanced against other strategies and tactics which dictate making decisions and taking actions.
